My other photo that won me a consolation prize is of a young Sister who is praying for a child who is suffering from malnutrition in the Pleiku highlands just north of Ho Chi Minh.

How it began
Originally, this blog began in the spring of 2007 as Alife to document my life. A year later, when the Imaginative Factory, a website, was built, an attempt was made to merge both blog and website. As the blog grew, the vast range of topics had to be sorted out. Eventually, three sub blogs have been created: The Workshop, The Spark, and the Dark Room, in place of the former.
