Old School

Bro Michael, the only teaching Brother left in Malacca, continues to engage his very diverse range of form three students.

This shot here reminds me of primary school all over again...

Pulau Ubin

Being at Pulau Ubin can transport one back to the time of Singapore in the 1970's. Village life, houses on stilts by the sea, a performing stage for the chinese "wayang" (opera)... just to name a few. Here are some snaps from my recent trip there.

Raffles sia !

Last Saturday, I was given the opportunity to journey with a couple on their wedding day. Here are some of the shots for the segment at the Raffles Hotel. This couple was really easy to handle, their smiles so effortlessly. Cheers!

Hortpark 2

Was tasked to do another day's shoot. This time with a shift in focus - people. I was blessed to have a beautiful day and many kids in front of the lens at the right moment. Thank you!

Hortpark, southern ridges

Almost a year old and situated at the Southwestern part of Singapore lies this 23 hectare park.

The aim for this park is to showcase horticulture and the landscape industry in Singapore...

... and promote gardening as a hobby and lifestyle.

Stay tuned for more...

Tambunan, Sabah

Sabah is blessed with natural beauty. Filled with green mountains that roll on as far as the eye can see and exotic plant and animal species that you only get to see in books and on the internet.

A big and beautiful butterfly in the school at St Martin's - not a common everyday sight, even for the locals there.

Nabawan, Sabah

Located nearly right in the middle of Sabah is Asrama Butitin.

There are 80 students boarding at the asrama and school for them is only a 5-min walk away.

In the mornings when the seniors are at school, the juniors have tuition classes with the Brothers in the Asrama.

Good ol' school days

These are images from a series of la Salle schools that I have been documenting the Brothers.

Growing up, I'm sure we all find this scene familiar, but from a different point of view.

Waiting for assembly to begin as the morning sun pours into the auditorium.

Primary school practicals were always an eye opener!
